The Financial Crisis

For my second "News Magazine" I decided to take up the second most critical topic of the twenty first century, and that is the Financial Crisis. Obviously, I have covered this a lot on the GoldmanBanksters.com and WallStreet-Banksters.com websites, and the next menu over How WallStreet Works, but I will try to simplify the topic here.

MSNBC Dylan Ratigan Unemotionally Explaining the Financial Crisis

This video/newscast is where Dylan lost his composure on MSNBC and spilled most of the beans in a little under 4 minutes.  This video did go viral, but unfortunately didn't reach as many people as it should have.  I think it did reach the Occupy Movement young people and is a good starting point for the rest of us.

So Why Aren't We Adding BACK the Laws to Safeguard our Future

The Nomi Prins video is a great interview. Watch the whole interview, she talks about the corruption in banking, how nothing has changed in Washington, and how the Occupy movement IS helping to keep the attention on the GREED in the Financial Industry.

How Banks Work (or the History of Banking)

I have always liked these videos because Bill Still gives a straight forward explanation on how big banks have developed over the centuries. How the big banks have profited from wars and misery, and how big banks are not out for our best interests!

The National Debt is way out of control, but what is more worrisome is the Derivatives Bubble. The economist don't use Trillions of dollars anymore, but Quadrillion... 1.4 quadrillion to be exact.  But who's counting!

Derivatives are one of the most destructive instruments on Wall Street, and yet no-one has a handle on how many derivatives there are and what their value is.

I like the PBS Frontline video on Brooksley Born because it shows the extend the Financial Industry will go to prevent regulation. It is one of the best videos on the subject.

How (And Why) Banks Increased Total Outstanding Derivatives By A Record $107 Trillion In 6 Months

ZeroHedge | Tyler Durden | 11/26/11

While everyone was focused on the impending European collapse, the latest soon to be refuted rumors of a quick fix from theWelt am Sonntag notwithstanding, the Bank of International Settlements reported a number that quietly slipped through the cracks of the broader media. Which is paradoxical because it is the biggest ever reported in the financial world: the number in question is $707,568,901,000,000 and represents the latest total amount of all notional Over The Counter (read unregulated) outstanding derivatives reported by the world's financial institutions to the BIS for its semi-annual OTC derivatives report titled "OTC derivatives market activity in the first half of 2011."  Read more...
